This excellent Old Pulteney 12 Year Old has been matured in hand selected ex-Bourbon casks, displaying the vibrant coastal character that the distillery is noted for. The nose and palate feature plenty of sweet honey and vanilla notes, plus nuts, spice, and fresh sea spray. Nose: Medium to high intensity with a briny hint of sea air. Palate: Dry, medium bodied and smooth, redolent of honey and cream, faintly salty with a slight spicy note. Finish: Sweet and long lasting.
