Tenuta Di Corte Giacobbe Soave 750ml
$53.69 $50.39 price per bottle

Wine maker notes Produced in the vineyards that surround the ancientCorte Giacobbe (the hamlet of Giacobbe), located in the hilly area of Ronca, only a few kilometers from Soave, the Corte Giacobbe Dal Cero wine is obtained from Garganega grapes. With a bright straw yellow color, its bouquet is striking for its clear floral-fruity scent with hints of white-fleshed fruit. The palate is well-balanced, savory, with good weight, and with a bitter almond finish classic to this grape variety. Pleasant also when tasted before the meal as an aperitif, it goes well with first courses, white meats, fish and vegetables. Recommended serving temperature: 10-12°C.
Producer In 1934, winery founder Augusto Dal Cero moved from the commune of Montecchia di Corsara to that of Ronca, where he acquired his first vineyards, some three hectares. A charismatic figure, he unfortunately died young, leaving to his sons Giuseppe and Dario the responsibility of continuing to grow the wine operation in accord with the principles of his philosophy. Over the years, new property was purchased, and the winery now boasts 15 hectares of vineyard. The winery cellar, in Ronca, has been recently re-structured; it uses the most up-to-date technologies, thus guaranteeing that the wines maintain their status of absolute quality. Located next to the barrel room is the tasting room; with its warm, hospitable atmosphere, it is the ideal spot to gain an appreciation of the best that Dal Cero produces. After tasting the wines, guests may also purchase them here. Dal Cero wines are sold all over the globe, and the family itself directs sales and marketing, assisted by an able network of sales representatives and distributors. All of their wines are directed to restaurants, wine bars, and enotecas.
