Nose. Not unlike a good Weller Antique barrel pick at first. But then it opens up nicely. Sweet yeasty wheat bread, cinnamon, light toasted oak, meringue, street vendor honey roasted nuts, stewed fruit. I keep getting more from the nose every time I lift the glass.
Palate. Great mouthfeel with traditional bourbon flavors. Rich earthy backing to the sweet caramel, meringue, honey. Comes and goes quickly though, with all flavors playing and stopping at the same time.
Finish. Light baking spice, sweet wheat bread, caramel. Fair amount of heat. Short and weak finish overall.
