Distilled at Fettercairn in 2007, this Single Malt was allowed to mature in a single hogshead cask for 14 years. Limited to a total outrun of 272 bottles, all bottled at cask strength. The Whisky is distinctive with oaks on the nose and a zingy sweetness on the palate. Nose: A strong sense of oak, less sweet and more biscuity with hints of peppermint and leather in the background. Palate: Peach, apple and grape fruitiness mixed with a hint of spice. Finish: A subtle burst of pepperiness.
