Grape: Corvina, Rondinella Tasting Notes: Blackberry, Currant, Fig, Baking Spices Ripassa Zenato is made by repassing Valpolicella wine over the pressed, dried grapes of Amarone. This is a significant mark of wine making left by Sergio Zenato who, in the nineties, rediscovered an ancient method of Valpolicella, the "ripasso". The wine is made from the same classic grapes as are used to make Amarone (in this case mainly Corvina, with some Rondinella) and comes with a similar, lush style. The richness is balanced by juiciness and pairs well with rich dishes and sauces.
