Nebbiolo thrives on the south-facing clay-limestone soils of Neive. The wine is matured in stainless steel vats, oak barrels and ancient tanks for more than two years so as not to leave too much of a mark on the wines. The juicy, ripe cherry is underlined by a superb minerality in a bouquet with delicate nuances of rose petals, saffron and spices. The palate asserts its character through the power of its tannins while being ripe and sophisticated. Elegant and harmonious nose. Flavors of plum and mushroom, with hints of cherry skin. Full-bodied and dry with silky tannins and a fresh finish.
