Situated in the heart of Speyside ? malt whisky country ? Glenfarclas, translated from the Gaelic as ?Glen of the green grassland?, nestles at the foot of the Ben Rinnes mountain. Ah, 1995?the year Windows 95 was released, no less. It was also the year in which this cracking addition to The Family Casks series was distilled at Glenfarclas. Full-bodied aromas. Delightful and refreshing. The palate is very powerful and complex. Smooth texture. Finish is very smooth and long.
